Details: I have this 60 Imperial Sedan. It´s got a 413 in it that´s locked up, but was stored with the carb on it for years, so I´d be willing to bet it´s not completely wasted. Pushbutton torqueflite. All the glass is there, with only a small break in the windshield. I got this with aspirations of just tossing another 413 in it, or a 440 with this 413 crank in it, and just buzzing it around. Sadly, I´m sitting on an unfinished short block for another car, and need the money from this to get heads for that. It doesn´t have a title, so it´ll come with a bill of sale only. It´s super clean, only a few dings on the body, and the majority of the rust is surface only. It was air conditioned, but all of that stuff is missing, and it has no semblance of brakes, although the parking brake does work. No trades, I´m pretty much out of room for crap sitting around. Just cosmetic. Reliable and low maintenance. I was happy enough with this car that I bought a newer Focus. I´ve gotten so many questions on this because people don´t want to read the whole ad its not even funny. No check engine lights or mechanical issues. Totaling 3500 in maintenance in the last few month including, New ABS module, new timing chains, guide rails (its know to shatter if not changed), all new gaskets, radiator hose, pulley, had pixel restoration on the LCD´s (a common issue for the e39´s) new oil changed, full synthetic, new OEM spark plugs. I have receipt for all the work done and a list of all the stuff that has been changed. The only minor issue is that the front passenger and rear passenger side window are not rolling down. The cars has a little over 100k in mileage, (101705 as of this writing) in decent shape for a 11 year old car, rubber is at about 50%, have a full size spare tire in the back. Picture is the actual car. Gets about 22-24mpg on the highway 17 or so in city. Power everything, in fact I can´t think of a single thing that isn´t powered, sun/moon roof, 12 way power seats, power mirrors, doors, heated mirrors, auto transmission with ability to run it manually, I believe it has bucket seats, black on black. It is an European car so suspension will be stiffer than American or Japanese ones.Will trade for a more fuel efficient 3 series, a v6 5 series, as I do cruse the highway a bit now, maybe a 7 series. Will also consider trading for volvo s60 or new body s40. Will go off of kbb value when trading. I will describe the car as fair condition under kbb, there are no mechanical faults but car is not in the best cosmetic shape. Will make up difference in trade with cash or vice versa. Please be honest with your cars condition, very few cars are in excellent condition (like 3-6%)Test drive by appointment, you must first show your driver ID and prove that you have the ability to buy it, no joy rides, gas these days are not cheap. Details: I just bought this car. The body and paint are beautiful, nearly flawless with a nice gloss to the paint. It looks amazing and a great, timeless body style. The interior is terrific. Barely a sign of any wear. It is a sharp car. It drives great. Tight, smooth, quiet and quick. 5 speed shift that is excellent. No mechical issues other than passenger air bag disconnected. AC works but leak in system. 2.0L Engine sounds great. No oil or coolant leaks whatsoever. Great sound system. Everything worked except one thing....a crank handle for the driver window. I drove to Chrysler today and on the way there washed off the engine as I do on all cars I buy at the wand car wash. It started right up and I drove to Chrysler to get the tiny pin for the crank. $8. When I went out to start the car it wouldn´t start. The plugs were wet. Took them out. Replaced them. Engine cranks strong but doesn´t turn over. Finally a mechanic came out. He said he didn´t know why it wouldn´t start and that it may be water on the coil or possibly a fuel pump. The car ran perfectly for two days, amazingly, like new. So he says that the timing belt is starting to wear. Timing belts aren´t expensive until they break. Then...he offers to buy the car and lowballs me. I can´t afford to fix anything. I know it is a little nothing problem. Even if a fuel pump suddenly went out it is cheap. I just think it is strange that I had just been to the car wash when this happened. You couldn´t find a cleaner, nice looking Sebring. Has very expensive new tires. Custom wheels. This would be a steal for someone. You would have to get it fast. It is still sitting on their lot.
