I always carry an extra quart of oil with me and check the oil levels every time I fill up.-The driver side seat has a rip in the leather (bought it this way) that could use some work-There is a stain on the carpet by the tailgate where a bottle of power steering fluid spilled -that stuff is hard to clean up but I did the best I could.-The cruise control just recently started giving me issues. We think that the acceleration button is stuck but I haven´t torn into it to find out. The cruise works but when you go to set it the car just keeps speeding up till it hits the governor then it kicks it back down only to go back up again. Hitting the brake to disengage the cruise setting or pressing the cancel button turned it off. I just stopped using my cruise control when this happened.-Passenger side door must be locked and unlocked by hand. Overall this is a very clean car that runs nicely! It ran perfectly through a rough Montana winter but since I am back in the Springs, I don´t need this big of car anymore. It is a base model with a couple options. 5 speed manual transmission. 2.0 4-cylinder sohc engine gets good mpg and has decent power. 155,000 miles. Car is still driven every day. Drives straight and smooth. No major dents or damage, but it is not ´pristine´ as it is a commuter car. There is a small dent on the passenger side door. Door opens/closes with no issues. Just cosmetic. Reliable and low maintenance. I was happy enough with this car that I bought a newer Focus.
