I´ve gotten so many questions on this because people don´t want to read the whole ad its not even funny. No check engine lights or mechanical issues. Totaling 3500 in maintenance in the last few month including, New ABS module, new timing chains, guide rails (its know to shatter if not changed), all new gaskets, radiator hose, pulley, had pixel restoration on the LCD´s (a common issue for the e39´s) new oil changed, full synthetic, new OEM spark plugs. I have receipt for all the work done and a list of all the stuff that has been changed. The only minor issue is that the front passenger and rear passenger side window are not rolling down. The cars has a little over 100k in mileage, (101705 as of this writing) in decent shape for a 11 year old car, rubber is at about 50%, have a full size spare tire in the back. Picture is the actual car. Gets about 22-24mpg on the highway 17 or so in city. Power everything, in fact I can´t think of a single thing that isn´t powered, sun/moon roof, 12 way power seats, power mirrors, doors, heated mirrors, auto transmission with ability to run it manually, I believe it has bucket seats, black on black. It is an European car so suspension will be stiffer than American or Japanese ones.Will trade for a more fuel efficient 3 series, a v6 5 series, as I do cruse the highway a bit now, maybe a 7 series. Will also consider trading for volvo s60 or new body s40. Will go off of kbb value when trading. I will describe the car as fair condition under kbb, there are no mechanical faults but car is not in the best cosmetic shape. Will make up difference in trade with cash or vice versa. Please be honest with your cars condition, very few cars are in excellent condition (like 3-6%)Test drive by appointment, you must first show your driver ID and prove that you have the ability to buy it, no joy rides, gas these days are not cheap. You can engage the 4WD Low just by turning a switch inside the vehicle. Full tow package with a power-brake booster inside (although I never used it). Premium JBL sound system with a 6-disk CD changer (and I used this every day). A full sliding sunroof. Air conditioning - it´s a great climate system where you can set it and it will automatically maintain that temperature. Running boards. Lots of goodies, but not so high-end that you would be concerned taking it camping.This is my favorite vehicle of all time. It drives like a dream, and if you ever drive in snow or off-road, it is amazing. Unfortunately, I´ve got to sell it now to save money. You won´t regret this purchase, and if there was anything I could do to keep it, I wouldn´t be listing it now.It needs a bath, and I am going to give it a good inside-and-out wash tomorrow. The front windshield has a crack and I will replace it this week. Also, I was up in the mountains in January and I got a scratch in the paint on the passenger´s side, just behind the rear door. It´s not bad, but I want to disclose everything. There should be a picture showing it. It is a great vehicle, but I want to make sure I disclose everything.It has been maintained very well. Details: BMW 535i Xdrive (known as 535xi prior to 2008) in excellent condition with 44,XXX miles. Still under BMW new car warranty and also covered by a BMW Extended Warranty, which will last until 100,000 miles or 6 years from the car´s in-service date. It also has a windshield warranty w/ genuine BMW glass replacement. I have owned over 20 automobiles, and this one is by far the finest car I have ever driven. It is truly the Ultimate Driving Machine. The twin-turbo engine is like butter with steroids in it; silky-smooth and wickedly powerful. It breaks my heart to sell the car as I just bought it about 7 weeks ago from Schomp BMW, but about 5 weeks ago I fell on some ice and seriously hurt my back. Despite the 14-way adjustable seat in the car, I can no longer find a driving position that does not cause me pain. I have tried and tried to find a position -- I have probably tried a 1,000 different combinations -- but I must finally admit to myself that it just won´t work. On a happier note, you now have the opportunity to buy a world-class automobile, still under factory warranty, for an excellent price. The car is in superb condition, as it just passed a rigorous inspection to be BMW CPO-certified. It has no dents or dings and only a couple of small paint chips (it´s a Colorado car.) It had a clear bra on for its whole life until I removed it to clay bar, polish and wax the car. The interior is in excellent condition and has never been smoked in. As you will see in the pictures, it has the rare ´natural´ Dakota leather interior which looks both classy and sporty, and really distinguishes it from the usual 535 color schemes.
