Details: We are selling our 2002 honda odyssey ex because the trasmission is going out and we would rather replace the vehicle than fix it. Everything is in good condition other than the trasmission. The van has cruise control, power windows, power doors, and power locks, power driver seat and light tint on the windows. The interior is in good condition except for normal wear. The exterior still shines, but has a rub mark on the rear bumper. It has high mileage due to long commutes and a few family road trips. (200995) The van is driveable but shifts hard from second to third gear; after that it is good to go. The whole car is in good shape except the transmission. We are looking to get around $3500 o.b.o. Details: I just bought this car. The body and paint are beautiful, nearly flawless with a nice gloss to the paint. It looks amazing and a great, timeless body style. The interior is terrific. Barely a sign of any wear. It is a sharp car. It drives great. Tight, smooth, quiet and quick. 5 speed shift that is excellent. No mechical issues other than passenger air bag disconnected. AC works but leak in system. 2.0L Engine sounds great. No oil or coolant leaks whatsoever. Great sound system. Everything worked except one thing....a crank handle for the driver window. I drove to Chrysler today and on the way there washed off the engine as I do on all cars I buy at the wand car wash. It started right up and I drove to Chrysler to get the tiny pin for the crank. $8. When I went out to start the car it wouldn´t start. The plugs were wet. Took them out. Replaced them. Engine cranks strong but doesn´t turn over. Finally a mechanic came out. He said he didn´t know why it wouldn´t start and that it may be water on the coil or possibly a fuel pump. The car ran perfectly for two days, amazingly, like new. So he says that the timing belt is starting to wear. Timing belts aren´t expensive until they break. Then...he offers to buy the car and lowballs me. I can´t afford to fix anything. I know it is a little nothing problem. Even if a fuel pump suddenly went out it is cheap. I just think it is strange that I had just been to the car wash when this happened. You couldn´t find a cleaner, nice looking Sebring. Has very expensive new tires. Custom wheels. This would be a steal for someone. You would have to get it fast. It is still sitting on their lot.
